Parental Alienation is a Form of Emotional Child Abuse

Partenal Alienation is a form of emotional child abuse. Unfortunately the parent who is doing the alienating (Alienation Parent - AP) is often blinded to the fact that they are harming their own child. They are often oblivious to the damage they are causing as their focus is internal on their issues or how they have been wronged by the Target Parent (TP).

This kind of abuse can have devistating effects both long term and across generatioins as behaviour (in relationships and times of conflict) and fear can be passed on to children.

Please see the subsections to get further information.

Emotional child abuse (PA) must become socially unacceptible and we as society should challenge anyone disrupting or blocking parenting time and a proper relationship with a loving parent.
